Consent
By subscribing to this newsletter, you consent to receiving the newsletter and to the necessary data processing by the provider:
in order to receive the newsletter, the provider requires a valid email address and a name in order to be able to address you in the newsletter. The name can also be a pseudonym. The data entered during registration are encrypted and transmitted to the provider's servers.

In addition, the provider requires additional data in order to verify that you are the owner of the registered email address. For this purpose, the provider uses the so-called double opt-in procedure (DOI). This means that after registration, you will receive an email with an individual link via which you can confirm your registration (confirmation link). Only after successful confirmation will you receive the newsletter. In addition to your email address and your name, the time and IP address of the registration and confirmation as well as the confirmation link are processed for the DOI, its verification and the prevention of misuse. The information is only used to assign you to the corresponding regional mailing list. The provider does not process other data in this respect.

The data collected will only be processed in order to be able to provide the newsletter and send it to you. If you do not confirm the registration, the data collected up to this point will be deleted after a period of two weeks, unless they are still necessary to prevent misuse; however, the processing of your data will be blocked. In principle, your data will not be transmitted to third parties. However, the provider may use a mail service provider which may process the data on behalf of the provider in accordance with statutory regulations and the provisions of this privacy policy statement and therefore does not constitute a third party. Furthermore, in order to receive the newsletter, you are required to provide your specified name and your email address to the provider of your email account (mail provider). The transmission is encrypted, provided that your mail provider supports such a process. Your consent is the legal basis for the processing of your data.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct advertising purposes. In case of doubt, the objection shall also be regarded as a revocation of your consent to the subscription of the newsletter. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. The provider will not process these data after this date, unless the provider can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that overrides the interests, rights and freedoms of the individual, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.
